Girlmodding: Glow-in-the-dark-stars

ModdingZone is full of male nerds, but girls can do it too, and I have
just proven that fact. No fans, no holes and not expensive. This is just
plain cute =)
I wanted to do something with my old boring case, but I
didn't want any help, and I don't want what everyone else have. After a
long night of browsing moddingpages and having a LOT of stupid ideas, I
decided to use glow in the dark stars, the ones you are supposed to put
in your roof, and dark blue color on the case. All of it. The CD-ROM too.
No white stuff!
First the stars had to get on. If the stars was on the
blue color they wouldn't bee as cool, they would appear blue if the lights
wasn't off. So superglue and twinklestars appeared to be nice to eachother,
no problems, no stars fell off. Then I taped them with masking tape, easy
on, easy off, and carved of the tape that wasn't covering the stars. This
was a bore... there seemed to be no end!

| Twinklestars and superglue |
Taping the first star, allready bored to tears |
But I didn't give up, and took the case outside for colouring. The
stars looked cool with the blue color on, but I took the tape of, the glow
in the dark effect is nice.

| First coat, looks like a sky with stars, maybe another mod will look like this |
The front is taped up |
Then there was the front of my case. I wanted it to be blue, and nothing
but blue, so I really took my time filling holes and covering up the buttons.
It turned out great after I adjusted a bit with a brush and painted the
buttons. To take a picture of the glow in the dark effect is hard, but
this is what it lookes like in the end.

| Almost done |
The front is done |
So, here it is, my first mod! And not the last. Soon there is a zebra
that gets its stripes! You will probably read about it here in ModdingZone.
